Local Band Logo- Vector/Adobe Illustrator- The vector makes
a smooth image and is best for lines and text and Illustrator allows for the
use of text and images. The logo will need smooth lines and a vector file type
will provide that much better than a bitmap. The file type that would be needed
to make this an internet graphic would be a JPEG or GIF
Builder Van Text- Vector/Adobe Illustrator-The vector
creates a smooth image even when enlarged. There is also a large range of
colours and text to make eye-catching text. It is best used for text, in
comparison to bitmap so would be the best file type. Adobe Illustrator has a
wide range of fonts which would create an attractive text for the side of the
van. This would need to be an internet graphic so you would have to make it a
JPEG or GIF.
Nursery Flyer- Bitmap and Vector/Microsoft Publisher-There
may be images and text on the flyer so you need bitmap and vector. A flyer will
certainly have text on it so will definitely need a vector file type. A flyer
may also need images to make it more eye-catching so this is why a bitmap file
type would be needed. Publisher is a good software for flyers because it
provides both images and text to users.

Why are the
characteristics important?
‘Bright, Driven,
Ambitious’- to take up this post in the company, you must want to have the
job and be willing to get it while also being ambitious to look for other
opportunities and being willing to go for them. An example of this is how there will be many opportunities to achieve promotions and you need to be aiming to gain these jobs.
‘Savvy(…) Good
inter-personal skills’- this is so that you are able to find and even
invent different ways to create sales opportunities and you will also need to
be a comfortable phone talker and also sound trustworthy and friendly so that
customers want to, stay/change to, our company. For example, you will be required to speak to customers and create opportunities to make sales such as over the phone.
‘Good organisational
skills’- you will be managing accounts and dealing with clients and you
will need to be able to organise everything in an efficient way so that the
company will not be viewed in a bad light. For example, dealing with accounts and information and keeping them in order.
‘Motivational’-
this is key because you will be managing a group of workers and you will need
to be able to effectively motivate them to do their best for the company. You
will also be required to self motivate so that you can also perform to the best
of your abilities. An example of this is leading a group of colleagues and being able to make them produce their best work.
‘Hard Worker’- a
requirement in all jobs is that you work hard and the same is expected here
because as a company, we are looking for people who will be willing to keep on
task during work hours and complete all tasks set of them on time and of a good
quality and if this is not met, using hard work, then this job is not right for
you. For example, working hard all day to produce a high standard of work.
‘Polite and
Persuasive’- you will be required to deal with clients and this will
require you being polite to them on the phone while you will also need to try
and persuade these clients to either stay with our company, or to move to our
company and this will require a good level of persuasion and politeness. For example, when dealing with customers you need to be polite to them while making sales.
